What ages do you treat?

We provide speech therapy services for children ages 2-12. While we primarily see clients ages 2-6, we love working with school-age children as well. Limited after-school spots are available. If your child attends a private school, we can discuss seeing them during their school day.

What conditions do you treat?

At Powell Speech & Language, we specialize in treating speech sound disorders (articulation), Childhood Apraxia of Speech (CAS), fluency disorders (stuttering), and late talkers. In addition, we offer preschool language enrichment to target pre-reading skills.

Do you take insurance?

We are private pay only, but do accept FSA/HSA cards. Please reach out to find out more about our accessible speech therapy rates.

Do you provide progress reports or updates?

In addition to your child’s therapy time, you will be given consultation time at the end of each session. If I am seeing your child away from your home, consultation and home practice will be provided through e-mail. Progress reports will also be provided as goals are mastered.

What areas of Cypress do you serve?

In order to maximize the number of children we see, we currently see clients in Amira, Bridgeland, Coles Crossing, Fairfield, Towne Lake, and the areas between. If you live outside of this area, please reach out we can discuss working together or I can provide a referral to a therapist near you.
